Food businesses must ensure that food handlers receive appropriate supervision, instruction and/or training for their work. A certificate can help demonstrate training, but requirements may depend on the employer and role.
After completing the course lessons, downloading the handbook, passing the final assessment and completing payment, you can download your certificate.
Yes. If you do not pass, you can review the course material and retake the assessment.
The name you enter on the payment page will appear on your certificate.
Most UK employers accept food hygiene training that follows Food Standards Agency guidance and is documented. This certificate shows the learner's name, course title and completion date, and can be verified online by its unique ID, so it evidences the training your role requires. It is a private training certificate, not an Ofqual-regulated qualification — if your employer or contract names an awarding-body or Ofqual-regulated qualification, check with them first.
Yes. Each certificate has a unique ID that can be checked on our verification page.
Payment is required after you pass the test, before downloading the certificate.
Yes, each course has a downloadable PDF handbook available before the final test.
This is a private training certificate. It is not an official government certificate and it is not an Ofqual-regulated qualification.
