1. The service
Food Safety Certificate UK provides online food-safety training and issues private training certificates upon completion of the lessons, a passing test score, and payment.
2. Not a regulated qualification
The certificates issued are private training certificates. They are not Ofqual-regulated qualifications and are not government-approved. Employers remain responsible for deciding whether a certificate is suitable for a particular role.
3. Payment, pricing and refunds
Prices are shown in GBP and processed by Stripe. Because the certificate is delivered immediately as a digital download, the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once you have accessed or downloaded the certificate. Where the certificate has not yet been downloaded, contact support@foodsafetycertificateuk.co.uk within 14 days for a refund.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate information, to take the assessment yourself, and not to attempt to misrepresent a certificate. Fraudulent use may result in revocation of the certificate from the public register.
5. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the course. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
