Food Hygiene Certificate in Cardiff — Online Training for Wales
Cardiff is Wales' largest food economy, with the bay-side restaurant strip, Albany Road and the city centre all running busy hospitality operations. Wales follows the same FSA framework as England, with the addition of Wales' compulsory Food Hygiene Rating display — your 0–5 sticker must be shown at the entrance, so staff training records carry extra weight at inspection time.
Cardiff Council's environmental health team carries out routine inspections under the Food Hygiene Rating (Wales) Act, which makes the 0–5 sticker legally required to be displayed. 'Confidence in management', one of the three pillars of the rating, is heavily influenced by whether all food handlers have documented training.
All five courses align with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) guidance for food handlers across England, Wales and Northern Ireland — the same framework local authorities use when carrying out hygiene inspections.
